so i saw this newlywed-ish game floating around the internet, and finally got around to doing it. i sent randy the questions today in an email, answered them on my own…and then bugged him until he finally sent his answers back to me. we had no idea of each others answers until now. OH, and i did make a few small, but necessary, commentary on a few of his answers.

   a year and a half…almost exactly to the day.

   our official first date was on NYE 2008, and we went to see eli young band at house of blues in
   houston.

   ummm…spaghetti? i have no idea. he says he likes everything i cook, but i honestly doubt it.

i can see clearly now…

that firmoo came into my inbox.

after quiting my job and moving to dallas, i had to get on randy’s health insurance plan. being the sweet husband that he is, he picked up vision insurance for me {since he thinks his vision is perfect and hasn’t needed vision insurance before}. to be honest, his vision insurance SUCKS. the network is small, they only cover frames at certain stores, and if you choose to get frames somewhere else, they will only co-pay a VERY small amount. so rude.

so a few weeks ago i went to the eye dr, and of course my prescription had changed. thankfully, it wasn’t too drastic, but new frames would be nice. i took my prescription home with me, and it sat in my office for a good two weeks…enter firmoo.

a little lovin.

i thought i’d share some things i’ve been loving lately. i have a lot of free time on my hands to love things. so this might get lengthy.

1. last week i went to michaels for lord knows what, and came home with (among other things) FOUR CANDLES, two of which were this fab scent:

it smells DIVINE. i can’t really explain it. but the best part is, they were only $2 each. go scoop some up. really.

2. this stuff:
i tried this about a year ago, and wasn’t in love. but they recently came out with a new formula that’s oil free, and it’s AMAZING. the old stuff was thicker, and made my face look like a grease fest. this is much thinner, and keeps my face in check. for the past week i’ve been wearing it alone, without foundation. it’s my favorite thing ever to put on my face. OH, and when i say this past week, i mean thursday when i went to run errands, and today for church. putting on makeup to stay home just doesn’t feel right. my poor husband gets to see all my natural beauty (ha) everyday.

3. last week i went to becka’s, and she posted this picture on IG, and a few people asked about my wedges.
true story is that i got them last year on heels.com, and paid around $55 or so. HOWEVER, after doing some google searching, i found several pair {BRAND NEW} on ebay, and they are selling for LESS THAN $20. they have black, cognac, white, and pink…and i ended up getting another pair in cognac for LESS THAN $15, and that includes shipping! i’m gonna forewarn you and let you know that 3 or 4 of my toes are usually numb for 3 or 4 days after wearing them, but they’re really cute so it’s totally worth it.

so go search ebay for “michael antonio goldy”. your feet will hate you, but your wallet won’t.

4. lastly…this stuff.

i say nearly, because i haven’t met a self tanner that doesn’t make my feet look like a leper. but other than that, this stuff is right on. it doesn’t make me orange, it’s not streaky AT ALL, it stays on and doesn’t get on my sheets or clothes, and it’s moisturizing. i used it last summer mixed with the loreal sublime stuff, but that stuff has shimmery stuff in it, and it gets EVERYWHERE. so i’m sticking to this alone until i can get some real summer sun. you feel me?

what are YOU loving lately?

a few things

I’m all kinds of a mess over here.
randy has class on thursday nights, and I’m seriously lonelier than lonely. he’s been in school since january, and it hasn’t really been that bad…and then last week he was on spring break and didn’t have to study at all, and we had all week to just chill out on the couch when he got home from work, and then he took off friday and it gave us even more time to spend together. and the whole weekend just went by way too fast, and I’m really just missing him real bad after all that. I’m seriously sad. what is wrong with me.

probably doesn’t help that I have a TERRIBLE cold. like snot all over the place, can’t sleep, can’t move kinda cold. and I’ve had two migraines {that have each lasted several days} in the past 3 weeks.

and I’m homesick. I miss my family. and houston….to the point where I’m ready to jump in my car and drive four hours just for a hug from my mom.

so to sum it up, I’m falling apart and feeling really sorry for myself and I need to get my shiz together STAT.

moving on.

1. a few weekends ago I went to canton, tx with my mom, sister, aunt, and family friends. and I came back with these goods:

I haven’t decided how exactly I’m gonna paint it…or where I’m gonna put it. but I just had to have it, naturally.

i also got a monogrammed fleece, that I don’t have a picture of because I’ve been wearing it everyday while wallowing in my self pity. I just laughed out loud at myself for writing that. I am obviously ridiculous and delirious from these cold meds.

2. my sister bought me and my mom these sweet little wine sippy cups!

I just made them a little cuter with vinyl monograms…of course.

3. speaking of monograms {clearly I have a problem…I blame jessica.}
back in december, randy bought me a silhouette cameo {in hopes that I’d make him some money, duh.}, and since then I’ve been putting vinyl on everything I {and my family/friends} own. pretty soon, yours truly will be opening up an etsy shop to bring some vinyl into YOUR lives! here’s my problem…I need a business name! help me out. seriously, help me.
I kindaaaa want it to be personal..maybe with my name/initials/pets names, something original.. but cute and definitely not stupid. I don’t want a stupid name that I’ll be stuck with forever. ideas?
I can make it sweeter for you…I’ll send you monograms if I pick your name! deal?
