tuesday night {which felt like saturday night} i went to see one of my faaav texas country bands, josh abbot band, with my sissy, broinlaw, hubs, sissyinlaw, sissyinlaws bff, sissy’s sissyinlaw, sissy’s sissyinlaw’s husband, and sissy’s friend.
did you get all that?
so it was a blasty blast….once we got in that is.
my sissy forgot her ID. let me say that again…my THIRTY ONE year old sister forgot her ID and almost had a meltdown.
so i did what any good sister would do and slipped her mine after i already got in.
that’s right, my 31 year old sister used my 27 year old ID to get into the bar.
we do things backwards because we’re awesome like that.
my husband was in rare form.
ok, you’re right. this isn’t rare. this is completely normal in my life. he won’t take a normal picture. like, ever. he thinks this is SO funny. i give up. {also, thank you for disregarding my ghostly appearance. i’m sorry. really}
butt hole.
so anyway, during the song “she’s like texas”, i asked randall if i was as bright as the dallas sky.
he told me no. {ummm…wtf!}
then he said, “what if the dallas sky isn’t that bright? i mean, what if it’s dull. that would be rude”.
i told him josh wouldn’t say she was as bright as the dallas sky if it wasn’t a compliment. he disagreed. he did however agree that my moods changed like the weather out in lubbock. jerk face.
all in all, it was a good time.
except for the fact that two toes on my right foot are still numb from wearing brand new wedges, and that today now feels like monday.
anyway. hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th! OH and those of you that are off today SUCK.

Looks like y'all had fun and I think you are as bright as the dallas sky...I am just assuming because I have never seen the Dallas sky but I bet you are just as bright if not brighter. I am laughing out loud right now from typing all that! I wish there was an acronym for that so I didn't have to actually type out laughing out loud. grrrrrr

we tried to get into JAB once in Katy, and it was a big fail! His concerts sell out so fast. When do you move to Dallas?
